Youtube DIY: Valve Clearance Adjustments

It your engine "ticks" during a cold start or when running warm, you may need a valve adjustment. Most overhead cam vehicles need these adjustments done every 75,000 miles or so. I will help to quiet your engine and allow it to run more efficiently. When doing this service, be sure to inspect your gaskets for any worn areas, pinches, or tears. You will need to replace them is worn. This DIY is demonstrated on both 5th and 6th generation Honda Accords. Yes, i do like my Hondas.

Youtube DIY: How to Use Seafoam

I am fairly new to creating videos for Youtube and since my first upload; i have been hooked. This was a not so serious video. I created it out of a fun, learning experience with editing video through Movie Maker. My growing passion is becoming a what you might call, self taught mechanic. I've gotten burned by mechanics and have forked over way too much doe. I like hard work, getting my hands dirty, and taking risks. Those reasons have pushed me into using the Internet and several self help books and guides on troubleshooting and repairing my own vehicles. This experience is all the more exciting when filmed and shared with the world on Youtube. Here is my first video. Enjoy and be sure to view my existing and upcoming self help DIYs on Youtube.
